Erskine vs Oceanside
This was a hard fought battle!! We didn't play our best soccer game of the season, but we got it done. Congratulations to Zach Isbell for his first goal of the season.
Kennebec Journal Article:
A penalty kick with two minutes remaining in double overtime from Ryan Rodrigue proved to be the difference as Erskine beat Oceanside 2-1 in a battle of previously unbeaten teams. The Mariners took a 1-0 lead with 20 minutes remaining in the second half on a goal from Titus Kaewthong, but it proved to be a brief one. Less than 30 seconds later Zach Isbell drilled a shot from 20 yards out into the upper right corner of the net to set up the dramatic finish in double overtime. Denver Cullivan made two saves for Erskine (5-0-1), while Coby Dorr stopped four shots for Oceanside (3-1-1)

Semifinal Soccer Game & Video Footage
Hello Everyone,
BANGOR GAME: Our Semifinal Game (I can’t believe I’m saying the Semi final game) against Bangor on Saturday will be at 11AM. The bus will leave the school at 8:30AM. We are working on providing fruit for the boys. This is an epic adventure the boys. I’ve been trying to do a history check and I don’t know the last time Erskine Soccer made it to the Semifinals (if ever). It is hard to say how I feel. It has been a great year. Your boys have worked so hard. It has been a privilege coaching them this year.
VIDEO FOOTAGE: Greg Potter has been putting together a video of the season. He has had some great footage. We are looking for any videos on any goals; even if it is still pictures. If you have anything please forward this on to Greg. Our Awards banquet is November 5th. The video will be shown during the Awards Ceremony.
Greg, thanks for doing this. This will be a special night for the team.
Thanks,
Phil

Updated Status on Practice
Guys,
We will not practice today (Wednesday). Thursday (tommorrow) we will practice at noon. During Thursday's practice we will have more details on a scrimmage and who we will be playing. Right now we have to wait and see what the MPA will do with the tie (Lewiston & Hampden).
Enjoy the day off.
